Cool-climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from a single hidden vineyard in the Overberg, where renowned wine regions of the Cape South Coast converge.

Thamnus Wines is a boutique wine estate in the Overberg region of South Africa’s Cape South Coast, on the north-facing slopes of the Klein River Mountains. The farm produces only two wines, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, from a single vineyard, farmed regeneratively across 10 hectares of Table Mountain quartzite and Bokkeveld shale soils. Thamnus takes its name from the Orothamnus zeyheri, a rare fynbos marsh rose that grows on the farm and in very few other places on earth.
